Notout Cash Out is a feature that may allow an eligible open bet to be settled before the event or full bet has finished. The amount shown can change as live odds, match conditions and the likelihood of the original selection winning change. Cash Out is therefore different from cancelling a bet and also different from withdrawing money from your account.
This guide explains how Notout Cash Out works, why the displayed value can rise or fall, why the option sometimes disappears, how partial Cash Out works conceptually, and what to check if an offer fails.

How Does Notout Cash Out Work?
Notout Cash Out closes an eligible betting position early at the value available at that moment. Instead of waiting for the final event result, you accept the current settlement amount and the original bet no longer continues in the same way.
The existing Notout betting guide introduces Cash Out as part of live betting. A dedicated guide is useful because the feature involves several details that a short feature description cannot cover, including real-time price movement, market suspension and failed requests.
Why Does a Notout Cash Out Value Change?
A Notout Cash Out value is not fixed. When the position of your original bet improves, an early-settlement offer may increase. When the position becomes less favorable, it may decrease. A goal, wicket, red card, injury, live-odds movement or other important event can change the market quickly.
Betfair’s official Cash Out explanation provides a useful general example: early-settlement values are based on current market conditions and may be higher or lower than the original stake. See the Betfair Cash Out help guide for an independent explanation of how this type of feature normally works.
Cash Out Is Not the Same as Cancelling a Bet
Once a normal bet is accepted, you should not assume it can simply be cancelled. The current Notout FAQ already explains that confirmed bets generally cannot be cancelled, while selected markets may offer Cash Out.
With Notout Cash Out, you are accepting a new settlement value rather than reversing history and pretending the bet was never placed. Once an early settlement is successfully confirmed, later events in the match generally do not restore the original open bet.
Why Is Notout Cash Out Unavailable?
Not every bet or market is necessarily eligible for Notout Cash Out. Even when a button was visible earlier, it can temporarily disappear if the market is suspended, odds are changing quickly or the system is waiting for an important event to be confirmed.
- The selected market may not support Cash Out.
- The event may be temporarily suspended.
- Live odds may be updating after a goal, wicket or other major event.
- The bet may already be settled.
- The available value may be updating in real time.
- A technical or data-feed interruption may temporarily disable the feature.
Major sportsbook rules also make clear that Cash Out availability is not guaranteed at every moment. The original bet normally remains in place unless the early-settlement request is successfully accepted.
Notout Cash Out During Cricket Betting
Cricket can produce rapid changes in Cash Out values because one over can materially change a match. A wicket, boundary, required run rate, partnership or rain interruption can affect live prices quickly.
The Notout cricket betting guide already lists Cash Out as available on selected live markets. Before using it, check which exact market you placed rather than assuming that every cricket selection will display the option.
Football Cash Out Example
Imagine you backed a football team before kickoff and that team takes an early lead. Because the original selection is now in a stronger position, an early-settlement value may rise. If the opponent equalises, the offered value may fall again.
The important point is that Notout Cash Out reacts to the market position, not to how much you personally want to receive. The available amount should be read as a current settlement offer rather than a guaranteed future value.
What Is Partial Cash Out?
Where partial settlement is available, only part of the open position is closed while the remaining portion stays active. Conceptually, this lets a user secure part of the current value while keeping some exposure to the final outcome.
Do not assume partial Notout Cash Out is available on every market. Check what the interface actually offers before confirming. If only a full Cash Out button is shown, there may be no partial option for that bet.
What Happens If a Cash Out Request Fails?
A failed Notout Cash Out request does not necessarily mean the bet has been settled. Rapid price movement can make an offer expire between the moment you tap the button and the moment the request is processed.
- Check whether the bet still appears under open bets.
- Look for a success or failure confirmation message.
- Refresh the current market instead of repeatedly tapping the same button.
- Check whether the market has been suspended.
- If the status remains unclear, save the bet ID before contacting support.
If the issue relates to the final result rather than the early-settlement button, use the Notout bet settlement guide to understand void, pending, DLS and abandoned-event situations.
Notout Cash Out vs Bet Settlement
Normal settlement happens when the selected market reaches its final result under the applicable rules. Notout Cash Out is different because it attempts to settle the position before that final outcome.
| Feature | Cash Out | Normal Settlement |
|---|---|---|
| Timing | Before final result | After market result |
| Value | Current offered amount | Based on final bet result |
| Availability | May not always be offered | Applies to accepted bets under market rules |
| User action | User must confirm offer | Usually automatic |
Notout Cash Out vs Withdrawal
Cash Out and withdrawal are completely different processes. Notout Cash Out settles an open betting position. Withdrawal moves available account balance out through an available payment method.
You can successfully Cash Out a bet and still have the returned amount sitting inside your account balance. A separate withdrawal process may then be required. For account or payment questions that are not about betting markets, use the Notout support page.
Should You Always Use Cash Out?
There is no universal answer. Using Notout Cash Out changes the original position by accepting an early value. Letting the bet continue keeps the original outcome exposure. Neither choice guarantees a better financial result.
Avoid treating a rising Cash Out value as free profit or a falling value as a reason to chase losses elsewhere. The feature is a settlement tool, not a guaranteed strategy.
Notout Cash Out FAQ
1. Why did my Notout Cash Out amount change?
Live market prices change as the event develops. The available early-settlement value can therefore rise or fall before you confirm it.
2. Why did the Cash Out button disappear?
The market may be suspended, updating or no longer eligible. Cash Out should not be assumed to remain available continuously.
3. Can I reverse a completed Cash Out?
Normally a successfully confirmed early settlement should be treated as final rather than a temporary cancellation. Always review the amount before confirming.
4. Is Cash Out the same as withdrawal?
No. Cash Out settles a bet early. Withdrawal moves available balance from the account to a supported payment method.
5. Does every Notout bet have Cash Out?
No. Availability can depend on the market, bet type and current event status. Check the open-bet interface for the specific selection.
Final Notout Cash Out Checklist
Before using Notout Cash Out, check the current offered value, confirm whether you are closing the full bet or only part of it, and wait for a clear success message. Remember that the value can change, the option can become unavailable, and Cash Out is different from both normal bet settlement and account withdrawal.
18+ only. Betting involves financial risk. Use a fixed budget and never treat Cash Out or any other betting feature as guaranteed income.
